Summertime = TIME TO SELF REFLECT.
My summer self is way different than my winter persona. During summers I’m more homebound, in hibernation mode, escaping the maddening heat. For me being home instantly cuts off all that unnecessary clamour from the outside world and gives me the space and time to be with myself, create more, read more and most times just be! Besides gorging on fresh seasonal fruits (note: a watermelon is love in the form of a fruit), I utilize summertime to self reflect, especially upon my past, my choices, my general progression in life and I can see that I’ve come a long way. I now am very mindful of my choices and actions in comparison to the past me. There’s still a long way to go but I’ve come into much awareness now. I am able to now discern what’s best for me and for my highest good and this awareness and discernment should naturally extend also toward this beautiful planet and all the beings that inhabit it. As a consequence, this quarter’s issue will help you tap into all the sanguine energy that the summer season brings with it, encouraging all you readers to change for the better and make more conscious choices for yourself and the world around you.
